IFS is honored to team with the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center to celebrate Black History Month.  In 马歇尔 young lawyer Thurgood 马歇尔 travels to conservative Connecticut when a wealthy socialite accuses a black chauffeur of sexual assault and attempted murder. 他很快就 teams up with Sam Friedman, a local Jewish lawyer who's never handled a criminal case.

IFS is proud to screen this film written and directed by UNC film instructor Emilie Upczak.  After the death of her father, Zhenzhen hires a smuggler to take her to the Caribbean island where she gets her a job at a restaurant.  When the smuggler demands more cash, the delicate beauty is forced into a compromising position.  IFS is honored to have Emilie Upczak join us after the film to discuss her work.
